Some great presentations and discussions at yesterday’s ‘Unleashing the Potential of AI’ International Technology Conference. Thanks to Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce for organising it.
While a range of topics were covered, I particularly enjoyed the Healthcare Session where George Harston (Brainomix), Katrina Douglas (Oxlabs) and Keith Errey (Isansys) provided practical examples of how AI was being used to speed treatment of stroke patients, care for the elderly, and streamline processes in the NHS.
Alison Wright (Microsoft) rounded off proceedings with her keynote address highlighting the unprecedented uptake of AI and the need for upskilling. Alison pointed out that SMEs should take full advantage of the Government’s ‘Flexible AI Upskilling Fund’ by applying before the May 31 deadline expires.
